We're not analysts writing about tools from the outside. We're builders, developers, and creators who rely on AI daily — and got tired of wasting time finding the right one.
"Every week, dozens of AI tools launch and die. The ones that survive can transform your work — but only if you find them. That's what we're here for."
First Hub started as a personal frustration. As developers working with AI daily, we spent hours every week testing new tools, comparing features, reading reviews that turned out to be sponsored content. We knew there had to be a better way.
So we built the hub we wished existed: a place where every tool is tested hands-on, reviewed honestly, and organized so you find exactly what you need in seconds — not hours.
Today, our team covers 12 categories across AI, from chatbots to image generation, code assistants to video tools. We test over 50 new tools every week, and only the best make it to the Hub.
Each of us brings a different lens to AI tools — so our reviews cover every angle, from technical performance to real-world usability.
Full-stack developer with a deep focus on web and mobile applications. Clément has been building digital products for years and was an early adopter of AI-assisted development workflows. He oversees the platform's architecture and personally tests every code-related AI tool that enters the Hub — from Cursor and GitHub Copilot to niche IDE plugins. His engineering background means every tool review includes real performance benchmarks, not just surface impressions.
Like Clément, Maxime is a full-stack developer with a passion for clean, scalable applications. His specialty lies in integrating AI tools into production workflows — not just testing them in isolation, but understanding how they fit into a real team's stack. He leads the Hub's tool comparison methodology, making sure every review answers the question that actually matters: "Will this tool save me time or waste it?" He also manages partnerships with tool providers for member pricing.
Nick comes from the intersection of photography and generative AI. A former developer who contributed to community projects around Midjourney's ecosystem, he has spent years pushing the boundaries of AI-generated imagery. At First Hub, he's responsible for reviewing every visual AI tool — image generators, video tools, design assistants, and creative suites. His reviews go deep into prompt engineering, output quality, style consistency, and commercial licensing terms. If an image AI makes it into the Hub, Nick has put it through hundreds of test prompts first.
Sandy is the voice of First Hub. She manages all marketing, communications, and community support — making sure that every user finds the right tool for their needs. Before joining the team, she spent years in digital marketing, which gives her a unique perspective on AI tools: she tests them the way a non-technical user would, focusing on ease of use, onboarding quality, and real business value. Her reviews for writing tools, marketing AI, and productivity apps are written from the perspective of someone who needs results, not technical specs.
Bryan is the numbers behind the reviews. Specialized in algorithms and data science, he builds the benchmarking frameworks that let us objectively measure AI tool performance — response latency, output accuracy, consistency across use cases, and cost-per-result. When we say a chatbot is "more reliable" or an image model is "faster," it's because Bryan ran the tests. He also monitors the AI industry's technical landscape to identify which tools have real engineering behind them and which are just wrappers on existing APIs with a marketing budget.
We never accept payment for reviews or rankings. Every tool earns its place through real testing.
We don't rewrite press releases. Every review is based on actual usage — real tasks, real workflows, real results.
Bryan's benchmarking framework gives us objective numbers on speed, accuracy, and cost. Opinions are backed by data.
AI moves fast. We re-test tools after major updates and remove ones that stop delivering.
User feedback shapes our priorities. If you need a tool reviewed, tell Sandy — we'll fast-track it.
When we negotiate member pricing, the deal is always disclosed. Trust is non-negotiable.
